We used some leftover Rib Roast for this Shawarma Rice bowl and this could not have been better. This recipe can not only be worldly... but also versatile and flavorful.
When this rice is cooking the whole house smells of a different world. When you taste Yellow Rice, you can appreciate generations of wonderful people and their heritage.
A little of this Horseradish Sauce on the side of a Rib Roast for dipping or a little drizzle over a leftover Rib Roast sandwich is what I assume heaven is like.
By far... my number one sandwich. Cubans or a Reuben are up there. But, nothing can compare to this. I love the flavors and culture immigrants give to america. Thank you Sicily for this amazing masterpiece.
