Quake and Bake Pork Chops

If you grew up in America, you know... Maybe you remember your parents letting you shake the plastic bag for yourself. Young chefs in the making. ;)

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

the shake quake
1 cup Progresso® Italian Style Bread Crumbs
1/2 cup Progresso® Italian Style Panko Bread Crumbs
2 teaspoons Bourbon Barrel Foods® Smoked Paprika
1 teaspoon RealSalt® Garlic Salt
1 teaspoon RealSalt® Seasoning Salt
1 teaspoon italian herb blend, dried
the bake
4 pork loin chops
2 tablespoons California Olive Ranch® Avocado Blend

Directions

Preheat oven to 425℉ using convection mode.

Mix the shake ingredients in a large resealable plastic bag.

Brush both sides of pork chops with oil and place chops, 1 at a time, in the bag. Close the bag and shake to coat well, pressing the coating into the chop.

Place the coated chop on a baking rack on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat until all the pork chops are coated and on the baking sheet rack. Lightly spray the top of the coated chops with a cooking spray.

Place in the oven on a middle rack and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until fully cooked. A pork chop temperature should read about 145℉ with a thermometer to be fully cooked.

Notes

  • Make them Ranch Style Shake Quake and Bake by adding a packet of Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning, Recipe Mix Packet to the dry ingredients. No need to add the garlic salt or seasoning salt if making the ranch style. But I leave in the paprika because I like it.
  • Adjust cooking time based on thickness and type of pork chop. If using bone-in, it will take longer to cook. I like to use 3/4 inch thick chops.
