Pancakes

Ohh man... who doesn't love pancakes!

Makes 9 pancakes

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups King Arthur® All-Purpose Flour
3 1/2 teaspoons Bob’s Red Mill® Baking Powder
1 tablespoon C&H® Granulated Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Diamond Crystal® Kosher Salt
1 1/4 cups whole milk
3 tablespoons Land O’Lakes® Unsalted Butter, melted
1 egg
1 teaspoon La Vencedora® Mexican Vanilla Pura

Directions

In a large bowl, add milk, melted butter, egg and vanilla and mix to combine, then set aside. In another large bowl add flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together and mix to combine. When both mixes are ready, add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and whisk/mix until smooth.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/3 cup for each pancake; cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, about 2 to 3 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.

Notes

  • If the batter is too thick add more milk a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency.
  • Adding dry ingredients to wet results in a less lumpy batter.
  • On a blackstone electric griddle, set the temperature as 400℉.
  • To substitute buttermilk for whole milk use ~1 1/2 cups buttermilk.
