Cheddar Bay Biscuits

A copy cat recipe from Red Lobster®? I don't know... but if you close your eyes and imagine yourself in a booth in front of all you can eat shrimp... maybe.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Buttery, cheddary biscuits are a perfect side to some crab legs or lobster... maybe even a lobster bisque. yum.

Makes ~10 biscuits

Ingredients

biscuits
2 cups King Arthur® All-Purpose Flour
5 teaspoons Bob’s Red Mill® Baking Powder
4 teaspoons C&H® Granulated Sugar
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon RealSalt® Seasoning Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay® Seasoning
1/2 cup Land O’Lakes® Unsalted Butter, cold and cut into cubes
1 cup whole milk
1 cup Kraft® Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Kerrygold® Aged Irish Cheddar Cheese, shredded
topping
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon Real Salt® Garlic Salt
1/4 cup Kerrygold® Unsalted Butter, melted

Directions

Preheat the oven to 450℉. Pour the dry ingredients in a food processor, then add the cold butter and pulse until the butter is chopped into small pieces. Then pour in the milk and pulse to combine. Finally, add the shredded cheddars and pulse to combine.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Figure around a golf ball (plus) of biscuit batter onto the baking sheets, two inches apart. Bake for ~12 minutes until golden.

Meanwhile, whisk the biscuit toppings together for the biscuits. Once the biscuits come out of the oven, brush the butter mixture over the tops.
