Agave Margarita
This Agave Margarita is ready to serve. Maybe not my most elegant, but it tastes great and that is all that matters.

makes 4 drinks

Ingredients

8 oz Hornitos® Plata Silver Tequila
4 oz lime juice
1 oz orange liquor of choice
1 tablespoon light colored agave nectar
garnish
lime wedges
Bourbon Barrel Foods® Smoked Salt for glass rim
Tajin® Clasico Seasoning for glass rim
glassware
highball glass

Directions

Run a slice of lime around the edges of a glass. Mix salt and tajin seasoning into a small dish. Press the rim of the glass into the seasoning mix to coat the edges.

Fill a cocktail mixer with ice.

Add tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liquor, agave nectar and some smoked salt to the mixer. Shake for a minute until well combined.

Fill prepared glass with lots of ice and pour margarita over the top. Add a lime wedge for garnish.
